Summary

We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Learning Disability Team



This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 1 year post qualified experience.



About the Team


The team supports individuals with learning disabilities to live as independently and safely as possible while promoting their rights, wellbeing, and quality of life. The role involves assessing needs, developing care and support plans, coordinating services, and working closely with families, carers, and other professionals. The workers advocate for individuals, safeguard vulnerable adults, and ensure that care is person-centred and aligned with the principles of the Care Act 2014.



About you


A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 1 year experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. Experience working with within a fostering role is necessary. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
