Summary
Senior Quantity Surveyor - Commercial Lead
Location: Central London (Site-Based)
Salary: Up to £85,000 per annum
Project Value: £17 Million (Commercial Scheme)
An established and reputable contractor is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for a £17m commercial project in Central London. This is a site-based role, suited to a confident and experienced QS who can independently manage and lead the commercial function of a large-scale project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full commercial ownership of the project
- Procurement and management of subcontractors and supply chain
- Accurate cost reporting, forecasting, and budget management
- Contract administration and dispute resolution
- Work collaboratively with site teams, clients, and consultants
- Mentorship of junior commercial staff on site
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
- Strong background in delivering commercial or mixed-use projects £10m+
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Confident working on site in Central London
