Summary

Hannah More Primary School have an exciting opportunity for 2 dedicated practitioners to join our Inclusion team as a Teaching Assistant; supporting teachers with the inclusion, development and education of pupils. 32.5 hours a week. Term time onlyJob overview You will be working under the guidance of the class teacher to support the inclusion of some of our most vulnerable learners. This will include 1:1 support and group support in the class, as well as running targeted interventions. -One role will be based in Reception, working as part of a team of TAs to support a range of needs including Speech and Language Delay, Autism and Social and Emotional Difficulties. -One role will be based in Lavender Class, our Enhanced Learning Provision for pupils with Autism and Social communication difficulties. Afternoons will be supporting a year 6 pupil with ASC to integrate with his class. If you have a preference for a role, please make this clear in your application.
Job Requirements • A minimum of 3 GCSEs at C grade or above, including English and Maths • Teaching Assistant qualification desirable • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to be empathetic and understand the needs of students • Positive and resilient attitude with the ability to problem solve as part of a team As an inclusive school, we have a wide range of needs. Experience or training in meeting the needs of pupils with Speech and Language Difficulties, Autism or Trauma would be highly advantageous.
