Your new role
Be involved with an excellent range of projects from residential (small and large developments), minerals, renewables (solar farms), linear infrastructure, local authorities for planning and much more!
Main responsibilities include...
- Site visits to complete surveys
- Liaison with clients and business development
- Technical report writing
- Production and review of quotes
- Project management
What you'll need to succeed
- Genuine and demonstrable enthusiasm for ecology and the environment;
- Experience of habitat surveys (UK Habs/ NVC) and protected species surveys;
- Excellent understanding of survey design, industry best practice and mitigation measures;
- Excellent communication skills (with colleagues, clients and third parties);
- Motivated to work both independently and as part of a team; and
- Comfortable designing surveys and quoting for work.
Desirable:
- Full member of CIEEM (or eligible if not currently held);
- Excellent report writing skills;
- Degree or equivalent in an ecology related discipline;
- Experience of line managing and mentoring junior members of staff; and
- Comfortable generating new work and networking.
