Summary

Hours: Monday- Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Participation in management on-call rota required some weekend). Location: Maypole Birmingham. This is working from site. Closing Date: 25th July InHealth sees more than 5 million patients each year and diagnostic imaging is one of the busiest services that we provide. Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vison. Following this we are proud to be opening a new Community Diagnostic Centre in South of Birmingham, Maypole, in Summer 2025. We are now actively recruiting a passionate and dedicated team. Right now, we are looking to recruit a Service Manager who will be the CQC registered manager. You will be responsible for the oversight and day to day running of the facility, ensuring its smooth operation and compliance with all governing bodies. It is a requirement that you have a background in Radiography due to being the main modality in the unit ad requirement to train and support the staff in this area. What you will do: As an InHealth Service Manager you will be responsible for service and clinical leadership, operating in accordance with local guidelines and company policies to deliver a service that is aligned to contractual and governance requirements. What you are responsible for: Ensuring the service delivers the highest standard of patient care whilst meeting customers expectations. Ensuring the building is maintained and well kept, clean and in line with IPC standards and all issues surrounding this are escalated to line management. Upholding the requirements of all regulatory standards, holding the position of CQC registered manager, and ensuring you work within the budgets you are responsible for. Managing the rota for the department, ensuring sufficient employee resource availability through effective planning Overseeing all day to day activity across a 7 day service. Ensuring you are kept up to date on all InHealths processes and procedures. Responsible for ensuring that staff are recruited, inducted, trained and supported well in line with InHealth policies for Radiography, Respiratory and Phlebotomy. Ensuring good communication is maintained and encouraged with the team and all stakeholders. Ensure KPIs and reports are kept up to date and shared at appropriate intervals with stakeholders. We are looking for someone who has: A BSc in diagnostic radiography or equivalent would be desirable Management experience in a healthcare setting would be desirable Experienced in leading teams with the ability to coach and mentor. Good understanding of CQC fundamental standards, Health & Safety, Infection Control, the Data Protection Act and Caldicott Principles Ability to remain calm under pressure. Well developed in organisational and time management skills, and able to prioritise conflicting demands The ability to motivate and lead, with a desire to exceed expectations.
