An exciting opportunity has arisen for conscientious, enthusiastic and highly motivated candidates to join the Gastroenterology / Hepatology administrative team at Hemel Hempstead Hospital.
The post holder will work closely with the Hepatology Specialist Nurses, Gastroenterology consultants, their immediate colleagues, and other administrative and clinical members of the Gastroenterology service.
This post is 27 hours per week.
The successful applicants will be providing a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to one or more of the Gastroenterology/ Hepatology consultants, nurses and secretarial team.
The successful applicant will ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the department through maintaining office systems including the development and maintenance of electronic booking systems. Adding patients to waiting list on PAS for Fibroscan procedure and booking appointment date. Booking, cancelling and rescheduling hepatology and gastroenterology nurses and consultants clinic appointments.
With a new hospital planned for Watford and work underway to update theatres at St Albans City Hospital, this is an exciting time to join us.
