Typical day as a Gas Supervisor
- Leading our trades team to deliver a right first time, whole job repairs and maintenance approach which is compliant and of high-quality.
- Ensuring all works (installing, repairing and servicing of domestic gas appliances) are completed to the highest standards, working within budget, KPI’s and service standards.
- Managing health and safety, ensuring we comply with regulatory, health and safety standards.
- Successfully managing internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise.

You have
- An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or strong equivalent operational experience.
- Time served experience in gas installation and maintenance work with an excellent knowledge of installing, commissioning, repairing and servicing domestic gas appliances.
- Hold current ACS accreditation (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1).
- SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.
- Experience of managing construction teams including gas and compliance, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity and quality.
- Experience of building regulations, gas/mechanical installations and materials and confident working to specifications and contracts.
- A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details
- Working Monday to Friday, you’ll also take part in our out of hours service on a rota basis, receiving an additional generous on call payment of up to £211 per week.
- Our office base is in Maryport and the wider team cover the North Lakes.
- You must be able to use technology for managing progress of works and budgets, complete online learning and collaborating with other colleagues.
- You’ll need a Basic DBS check done and we pay for that.
