Our client is a leading MEP company dedicated to delivering high-quality building services projects. With a collaborative approach and commitment to excellence, they work across various sectors, providing mechanical and electrical solutions from design through to handover.

This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of mechanical building services projects, from design through to handover. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you’ll support senior management while also taking ownership of your own projects. You’ll be involved in preparing documentation, managing take-offs and procurement, and ensuring work is delivered safely, on time, and to budget. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and electrical specialists, offering a dynamic and rewarding working environment.

• Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation
• Proficient in MS Office and capable of working with interdisciplinary teams
• Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and delivering high-quality results
• A collaborative team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn

What will your role look like?

• Support the delivery of mechanical systems across MEP projects
• Collaborate with electrical and specialist teams to ensure project coordination
• Assist with construction and technical documentation including drawings and contractor proposals
• Supervise installation and commissioning of mechanical systems including gas, heating, domestic water and drainage, and ventilation
• Prepare material take-offs, request and evaluate quotations, and track procurement progress
• Maintain project logs, support progress reporting, and ensure quality and compliance with all relevant standards
• Work both independently and as part of a wider project team under the guidance of senior management
