Summary

Sport Aberdeen is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Lead Project Activator (EDI) to join our dynamic Active Schools team. This pivotal role champions equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI), working directly with children and young people from priority groups to unlock the life-changing benefits of sport and physical activity.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Delivering targeted support through 1:1 and small group sessions to increase engagement in sport and physical activity.
• Managing and mentoring staff within the Active Schools specialist programmes.
• Playing a key role in operational planning and delivery of our inclusive initiatives.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure sport is accessible, welcoming, and transformative for all.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience working with young people, ideally from diverse or disadvantaged backgrounds.
• Strong knowledge of EDI principles in sport or education settings.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Passionate about empowering others and driving positive change through physical activity.
