Summary

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and machinery.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, failures, and issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Carry out repairs and replacements of electrical components and systems.

  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

  • Support installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment.

  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

  • Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control panels.

  • Familiarity with PLCs, motors, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic and testing equipment.

  • Good understanding of electrical safety standards and practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in electrical maintenance or relevant training.

  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies.

  • Knowledge of automation and control systems.
