Summary
To install, maintain, service and repair the full range of estates specialist equipment, plant and infrastructure. Provides technical advice to other estates maintenance staff and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures. Act in the role of Competent Person, as defined by Health Technical Memorandum, for the Electrical Distribution (LV) system. Undertakes condition surveys, evaluates inspection reports. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
