Key Responsibilities

As part of this role, you will:

  • Ensure product and services are compliant with environmental regulations and legislation within our North West Europe Market, with your main focus supporting compliance needs in the UK
  • Track, influence and ensure compliance with legislative requirements on various iniatatives
  • Keep internal teams aware of these changes by relaying the relevant requirements to our product development business units.
  • Co-ordinate and attend meetings with industry associations key stakeholders and policy makers.
  • Be a trusted advisor in the policy making process and use your understanding of environmental policy to help shape constructive policy proposals.
  • Support local sales and marketing teams, our channel partners and our customers
  • Locally support our clients community initiatives, to make a positive difference in the communities where we live and work.

Your profile

  • Passion for sustainability and drive to make a positive difference.
  • Bachelors/Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and experience of understanding environmental policy requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advocacy / influencing skills - rallying support from internal and external stakeholders to deliver on our objectives.
  • Enthusiasm, ability and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage fluid situations, then prioritize and take action with calm and efficiency, working at a fast pace in a flexible manner.
  • Strong team-working skills.
