A well-established and growing food manufacturing company based in the Moira area is seeking a reliable and experienced
Warehouse Operative
to join their busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are at the heart of operations.
Your new roleAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Forklift Trucks (Counterbalance/Reach) and other MHE safely and in line with company procedures
- Picking stock accurately for production and dispatch
- Putting stock away using barcode scanners or manual records
- Assisting with goods in/out, including loading and unloading deliveries
- Conducting stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Supporting production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure stock accuracy
- Adhering to food safety, allergen control, and hygiene standards
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent - Counterbalance/Reach)
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Willingness to follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures
Preferable
- Experience in the food manufacturing or FMCG sector
- Awareness of HACCP, allergen handling, or food hygiene practices
- Familiarity with inventory systems or handheld scanners
