Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as Deputy Manager at Kingsley Care Home, Paisley.
As Deputy Manager you will alongside the Home Manager and Management team with the day to day running of the home whilst also leading a team of nurses and support staff, in the delivery of high care. Full time position over four shifts.
This role is varied we are looking for an individual who;
Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
Experience leading a team of nurses and care staff
Experience in providing direct personal and social care
Good understanding of the regulatory framework
Clinical excellence with up to date clinical practices
Overseeing the delivery of person-centred care for residents with dementia and nursing needs
Ability to produce and develop care plans and detailed risk assessments
Providing effective Management and supervision of a great team (including nurses and care staff)
Able to work in a team but use own initiative
Sensitive and empathic nature
What’s also important is that you will have great communication skills
supervising and working alongside the team
Office based shifts
Be part of the On-call rota system.
Part of your daily responsibilities include administering medication, complete clinical assessments, updating care plans, ordering medications, appraisal and supervision of staff.
