Graduate PE Trainee Teacher – The Role

As a Graduate PE Trainee Teacher, you will begin a carefully designed training programme in September 2025. Starting with a reduced timetable, you’ll observe experienced colleagues, develop your lesson-planning skills, and build strong relationships with students.

Under the guidance of a dedicated subject mentor, you will take on increasing responsibility throughout the year. By the end of the programme, you’ll be confidently delivering your own high-quality PE lessons and contributing to extracurricular sports and enrichment activities.

You’ll complete the year ready to step into a full-time teaching role, with QTS achieved by July 2026.
