A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Sheffield is looking for a committed Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time from September 2025.
What’s on offer:
• Full-time, long-term Primary TA role (Mon–Fri, term-time)
• Earn up to £550 per week
• Support pupils aged 4–11 (EYFS to KS2)
• Work alongside experienced teachers and learning support staff
• Invaluable experience for PGCE or teacher training applications
• Opportunities for future teacher training within the trust
Key responsibilities:
• Support learning in the classroom across core subjects (Literacy, Numeracy, Phonics)
• Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support
• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities
• Provide pastoral support and help build pupil confidence
• Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging learning space
Who we’re looking for:
• A graduate with a 2:1 degree or above in any subject
• Someone who enjoys working with younger children and making learning fun
• Excellent communication, patience, and enthusiasm
• Committed to the development and well-being of every pupil
• UK-based with right to work (visa sponsorship not available)
