Summary

Are you a skilled Thermic Welder with experience on Network Rail projects?

We're seeking an experienced and qualified Thermic Welder to join our specialist rail team, delivering critical works across the UK's railway infrastructure. With a strong pipeline of work and long-term opportunities, this is your chance to be part of some of the most exciting rail upgrades and maintenance programs in the country.

What We're Looking For:

  • Valid Thermic Welding certification (Network Rail approved)
  • Proven experience working on permanent way / track projects
  • PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification - essential
  • TW1-2
  • RT1-2
  • Full understanding of rail welding standards and safety protocols
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and possess a flexible attitude to shift patterns
  • Strong team player with excellent attention to detail

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Carrying out thermic welding on track components to the highest industry standards
  • Working across renewals, maintenance, and installation projects
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Network Rail safety procedures and technical requirements
  • Completing welding reports and quality checks as required
