Summary

Wraparound Care Manager

Working 25 hours per week (term time only)
Preferred hours would be Monday to Friday
7.15 am - 8.45 am
2.30 pm - 6.00 pm
Although an alternative working pattern may be considered

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Stockton Heath Primary School are looking for a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic Wraparound Care Manager to lead Stocky’s, our breakfast and after school club.

We are seeking a confident and creative individual to lead our growing wraparound care provision. As the Wraparound Care Manager you will take responsibility for planning and delivering a rich programme of engaging indoor and outdoor activities, including opportunities for risky play in line with OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) principals.

You’ll lead a small team of playworkers to ensure a safe, caring and inspiring environment for all children, fostering independence, creativity and fun.

What we are looking for:
• Willingness to complete a level 3 qualification in Childcare, Playwork or equivalent
• Experience working with children aged 4-11 including team leadership
• A passion for outdoor play and child led learning
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety and behaviour management
• Confidence in planning and preparing healthy, light meals and snacks in line with food hygiene standard
• A warm enthusiastic and proactive approach to supporting children’s wellbeing.
