Groundworker with Drainage Experience Wanted - Stoke Newington, North London
We're looking for a skilled and experienced Groundworker with a strong background in drainage to join our team on a dynamic construction project in Dalston, North London.

About the Role:
You'll be a vital part of our groundworks team, primarily responsible for all aspects of drainage installation and maintenance, as well as general groundworks duties. This is a hands-on role requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Installation of foul and storm drainage systems

Connecting to existing drainage networks

Excavation, backfilling, and compaction

Laying pipes and fittings to required specifications
-
Carrying out drainage repairs and maintenance
-
Operating various plant and machinery safely (e.g., excavators, dumpers - relevant tickets essential)

General groundworks tasks, including concreting, kerb laying, and paving

Adhering to all site health and safety regulations

Working effectively as part of a team
What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Groundworker, with significant expertise in drainage

Valid CSCS Card (essential)

Relevant plant operator tickets (e.g., CPCS/NPORS for 360 excavator, dumper) are highly desirable

Strong understanding of drainage systems and construction techniques

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines

Understanding of health and safety practices on a construction site
