Do you have a passion for maintaining a safe and clean workplace? Do you enjoy working as part of a team providing excellent customer service?
We’re seeking an experienced and flexible cleaner to cover a variety of sites and contracts across Devon and Cornwall. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in line with ISS protocols, covering for staff absence and supporting site requirements as needed.
This role requires a proactive, adaptable attitude. While some shifts will follow a fixed rota, daily locations and duties may vary. Confidence in travelling across sites and responding to short-notice changes is essential.
The Role
Maintain hygiene standards across designated sites in line with schedules and service level agreements
Safely collect and dispose of office and kitchen waste
Manage stock and supplies to ensure availability
Operate cleaning equipment safely and correctly
Attend team meetings, training, and performance discussions as required
Report any equipment faults, hazards, accidents, or near misses promptly
Take responsibility for identifying and addressing personal development needs
About You
Full UK driving licence (essential)
DBS check (can be processed during recruitment)
Experience using cleaning equipment and chemicals preferred
COSHH training provided
Positive attitude and ability to work under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Have a good eye for detail and clean to an exceptional standard
