Role Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor with expertise in Fire Stopping to join our growing team on a mobile basis across London. You will be responsible for conducting thorough compartmentation surveys, identifying breaches in fire-stopping systems, and providing professional reports and recommendations in line with current regulations and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete detailed passive fire protection and fire-stopping surveys on various sites
- Identify non-compliances and breaches in compartmentation and fire barriers
- Produce clear, professional reports using digital software
- Communicate findings to clients and internal teams
- Assist with wider Passive Fire Protection works when required
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety legislation and standards
Requirements ✅ Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in fire-stopping and passive fire surveys
- Knowledge of relevant fire safety regulations (Approved Document B, BS 9999, etc.)
- Relevant qualifications/certifications (FIRAS, BM TRADA, ASFP, or similar preferred)
✅ Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
✅ Additional Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
- Willingness to travel across London
- Right to work in the UK
