We are seeking a Deputy Home Manager to join our compassionate team at our well-respected Nursing Home. This is an exciting opportunity for either a clinically registered nurse (NMC registered) or an experienced non-clinical professional with strong clinical understanding to help lead and elevate standards of care.
What You’ll Do:
Support the Home Manager in the daily operation of the home.
Lead and supervise a dedicated care team to ensure the highest quality of service.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care needs of residents.
Manage clinical documentation, care plans, and medication administration (if clinically registered).
Liaise with families, professionals, and regulators to maintain excellence in care.
Oversee staffing levels, recruitment, and performance management.
Act as a role model for best practice in both clinical and care delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Good understanding of clinical care practices and compliance (for non-clinical applicants).
Flexibility to support a 24/7 care environment.
Preferred:
NMC registration (for clinical applicants).
NVQ Level 3 or higher in Health & Social Care.
