Summary
We are looking to recruit an upbeat, innovative, creative and dynamic early years practitioner as a Room Leader to join this stable, reflective and dedicated team. The Room Leader will be based in Mango Room, our Community Room, the successful candidate will need to show specific leadership skills that could transfer to any age room in our Children's Centre. The candidate should demonstrate a passionate for serving the local community and sourcing support for vulnerable families.
The candidate will need to articulate their vision for their room and lead by example. They will need to line manage other nursery education officers and rigorously plan, prepare and deliver activities for the diverse needs of the children. As the room leader vigorous monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting is expected as the senior member of staff- taking responsibility for key workers development and overseeing their work performance. Excellent literacy skills and communication is required and the ability to relate well with others on a team and relate well to babies from 3 months up.
