Summary
Main duties and responsibilities Floor Cleaning Duties Suction clean & dust control sweeping Damp and wet mopping Spray cleaning & buffing Mechanical floor cleaning/scrubbing Stripping & re-polishing Carpet shampoo & stain removal Wet suction of floors Move wheeled and lightweight furniture where required High and low dusting Floor cleaning duties (as above) Deep Cleaning/Periodic Cleaning In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction Exit & Terminal Cleans In accordance with hospital policy & work instruction Other Duties Curtain changes Cleaning of cleaning equipment and signage Laundry duties Fault reporting in machinery and equipment Accident reporting Stock taking and ensure stock levels are sufficient to carry out work Window/glass cleaning (internal) Art & sculptures cleaning Bin stores Pre-occupancy cleans Emergency/escalation cleaning Water flushing and records Ad hoc cleans as requested Please refer to the Job Description for further details Please note that this post is subject to an initial probationary period of six months, extendable up to a period of 12 months.
