£12.21 to £24.42 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a well-known automotive seat manufacturer within the Sunderland Area/Houghton le Spring who are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their team.
This is a fast-paced role within a demanding manufacturing environment. Candidates must be adaptable, resilient, and ready to work efficiently in challenging conditions.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience in quality inspection roles within manufacturing environments who are willing to learn new skills and take on varied duties.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 7am-3pm (£12.21 per hour)
Monday to Friday: 3pm-11pm (£14.16 per hour)
Sunday to Thursday: 11pm-7am (£16.97 per hour)
Duties:
As a Quality Inspector, your duties may include but are not limited to:
Conducting visual checks on automotive foam seating in a fast-paced production environment.
Completing relevant quality documentation for inspected parts.
Ensuring that safety protocols are followed whilst maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times.
Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
Performing quality control tasks with attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate:
Candidates with previous experience in a fast-paced quality, production, or assembly environment, particularly involving foam chemicals or similar materials, will be well-suited to this role. A willingness to adapt to a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment is crucial.
