We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable A-Level Economics Teacher to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective A-Level Economics lessons in line with the curriculum and exam board specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel).
- Prepare students for internal assessments and final examinations through structured lesson planning and targeted revision.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher consultations.
- Contribute to the wider academic and pastoral life of the centre.
Requirements
- A degree in Economics or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching A-Level Economics, ideally in a similar educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of the UK A-Level curriculum and assessment criteria.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
Desirable
- Experience with online or blended learning platforms.
- Ability to teach an additional subject (e.g., Business Studies or Politics).
- Familiarity with data-driven teaching strategies and student progress tracking tools.
