Summary
Community Care Assistant – Bridgend & Porthcawl
Location: Porthcawl / Bridgend
Pay: £12.70/hour + £12.21/hour travel time + 35p/mile mileage
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time or Part-Time
Flexible shifts: 07:00–15:00 and/or 15:00–22:30 (includes weekends & holidays)
Driver essential (access to a vehicle required)
Bring independence home. Deliver care where it counts.
We’re recruiting Community Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across the Bridgend and Porthcawl areas. If you’re kind, dependable, and looking for flexible hours in a meaningful role we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
Provide personalised care including washing, dressing, and toileting
Support with meals, medication, and mobility
Offer companionship and emotional support
Build lasting relationships with clients and their families
Maintain accurate records and communicate with the care team
What We’re Looking For
✔ Caring, respectful, and professional
✔ Flexible with shift patterns and weekend working
✔ Reliable and confident working independently
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
✔ Previous care experience helpful but not required
✔ Willingness to complete NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care
