What You’ll Be Doing

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication or emotional difficulties


  • Working closely with class teachers to adapt lessons and materials for individual learners


  • Helping students develop key skills such as confidence, independence, and self-regulation


  • Supporting positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and inclusive classroom


  • Tracking and sharing progress with the SENCo and teaching team to ensure personalised learning support


    Who We’re Looking For

    We’re looking for a recent graduate who:

    • Holds a 2:1 or higher in Psychology, Education, or a related subject


    • Has experience supporting children or young people with SEN (through schools, voluntary work, or care settings)


    • Brings a calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to learning support


    • Is genuinely interested in pursuing a long-term career in education, child psychology, or therapy
