Who we need

Working closely with learners with a diverse range of Special Learning Difficulties and Disabilities (SLDD), you will provide tailored support to help them develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to succeed in the workplace.You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support both within college and in external work placements, liaising with employers and curriculum staff to ensure learners are fully supported throughout their journey.

What you’ll bring

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with experience in education, employability, or support work who is committed to making a real difference. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting learners in developing employability and independence skills.
  • Facilitating and monitoring work placements.
  • Building strong partnerships with local employers.
  • Promoting inclusive employment practices.

Whilst this role is part of a team based at our Basford Hall Campus and occasional travel to this site for team meetings etc will be required, the usual day-to-day base for this role will be out of the QMC Hospital in Nottingham.
