Summary
I am seeking an outstanding and forward-thinking Head of Engineering to lead and deliver an inspiring curriculum within a dynamic secondary school located in the north Liverpool area. Someone with strong experience and subject knowledge is necessary who is dedicated to making a difference to students learning process and education experience.
You should be completely confident in your abilities to conduct a lesson utilising your subject knowledge with the ability to adapt your lessons to the student’s ability. The Engineering department is a key part of the school’s STEM provision, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead and shape a high-impact curriculum that prepares students for real-world applications and further education in the field.
The successful qualified Science Teacher will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Engineering or a related STEM field
• Proven leadership experience within a school setting (departmental or subject lead experience desirable)
• Passionate about delivering innovative and inclusive engineering education
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
