Summary

Help us make a difference to people with life-limiting illnesses...

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community servies, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role:

We're on the hunt for a Community Fundraiser to join our team in a vital and varied role. Our communities play a vital role in enabling us to continue providing our services free of charge, and we need you to help grow and maintain that support.

As a Community Fundraiser, you'll engage, inspire and network with individuals, groups, schools, organisations and associations, to build new relationships, generate donations, and nurture existing connections.

You'll create and develop fresh fundraising ideas that are meaningful to the diverse communities we serve, ensuring Myton remains close to their hearts. You'll also provide supporters with excellent customer service to ensure they have the best possible experience.

This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9-5). It will be office-based at our Warwick Hospice, and it will also involve some travel to community venues and events. Some evening or weekend working may be required.

About you:

We are seeking a Community Fundraiser with:

- Fundraising experience
- Great organisation and presentation skills
- Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate others

You might have prior experience as a Community Fundraiser, Partnerships Fundraiser or Partnership Fundraiser.

As this role requires travel, you must have a clean UK driving licence.

We are committed to building an inclusive workplace and encourage everyone to bring their true selves to work. However you identify, and whatever background you bring with you, we welcome you to apply. If there are any adjustments that would help improve your experience with Myton, we encourage you to share this with us.

We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities and from ethnic minorities, who are currently under-represented in our hospices. We also believe our interview process should be inclusive and transparent. If there is anything missing, or a way we can improve, please do let us know.

Benefits of working at Myton:

Myton is an amazing place to work, where the role every person plays has a positive impact for our patients, living with terminal illnesses, and their families. In recognition of this, we offer a wide range of employee benefits, including:

- Increased employer pension contribution
- 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, increasing with long service
- Additional leave purchasing
- Winter savings scheme
- Discount schemes including Blue Light Card
