Summary
. Lead and support nursery practitioners, implementing the nursery curriculum to a high standard
. Supervise your key group of children
. Develop and maintain trusting and professional relationships with staff and parents
. Plan and implement activities that align with the Early Years Foundation stage framework, promoting children's development and learning.
. Prioritise the safety and well-being of all children adhering to safeguarding procedures.
. Room leader observe, assess and record children's progress, providing tailored support to help each child reach their full potential.
. Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards, and maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of their work.
. To support the professional development of their team members, providing on the job training and guidance.
. To be involved in the organisation and management of resources within their room, ensuring they are ready available and well maintained.

. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
. Effective time management, planning, and organisation skills to manage the daily operations of the room.
. A solid understanding of Child Development principles.
