Summary
The team manages a varied and complex shared caseload which will include completing holistic and specialised assessments and therapeutic interventions, and providing detailed risk management plans. You will liaise with colleagues and attend multidisciplinary meetings. Service User and carer involvement is at the centre of our approach, and this should be reflected in your values and practice. You will act as shift coordinator on a rostered basis, triaging referrals into the team, providing information, support and signposting as required. You will provide clinical supervision and appraisal support to junior colleagues. We welcome applications from people who have a strong commitment to working with older people using evidenced based practice and are prepared to develop their professional skills and knowledge. The post holder must be able to act as a role model for others, and demonstrate a high level of clinical judgment, decision-making and communication skills. You will be part of an MDT consisting of occupational therapists, nurses and psychologist, with medical support from Sector Consultant Psychiatrists and their colleagues. The service is commissioned to operate over 7 days, 8-20.30 hours weekdays and 10-18.00 hours weekends and bank holidays. The right candidate will be supported into the team with an induction and then in developing and furthering their professional skills through reflection in appraisal objectives, management and clinical supervision and further training and development opportunities. We would be delighted to hear from you.
