Summary

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused Transport Performance and Support Officer to join our transport team. This role is essential in supporting the efficient delivery of services by providing day-to-day operations support.
You will have experience of data management processes. supervision and support of administrative staff will be required. The successful candidate will be confident working on their own initiative, with strong attention to detail and sound numerical skills. They will work collaboratively across departments, ensuring high standards of service, professionalism, and public engagement.
The responsibilities of the role will include resolving issues, and ensuring efficient service delivery to meet operational and customer needs. Oversee data management processes, prepare and present financial reports, participate in budget meetings and maintain accurate month end contract lists to ensure financial transparency and compliance with budgetary constraints, manage complaints within the Council’s Service Standards, compliance, tendering process. Oversee the completion of FOI and SAR requests.
The candidate should be analytical, have a methodical approach, conscientious, Strong communication skills and be able to manage and respond to various forms of communication. You should be able to motivate, support and energise the people around you. You will take ownership and responsibility; work as efficiently as possible sometimes working to deadlines. You should be competent in Microsoft Office computer packages, particularly in Excel
