Summary
Job Duties:
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s business.
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of sales and related workers in the shop.
• Maintaining a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and cooperation.
• Establishing and monitoring work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimal utilisation of staff.
• Making adjustments to schedules as needed, taking into account business trends and employee availability.
• Liaising with the shop manager and the managing director to promptly resolve any operational issues that may arise.
• Determining and recommending staffing needs to meet sales and productivity target.
• Assisting in the recruitment and training of new staff as required.
• Identifying training needs and support employee development to enhance their skills and performance.
• Maintaining accurate records of daily sales and other relevant data.
• Preparing regular reports on departmental activities and present them to the manager.
QUALIFICATION: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or above

• Excellent customer service skills
• Good time management skills and be able to multitask
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial record-keeping and inventory management

EXPERIENCE:
Prospective employee should have at least one-year practical experience in the relevant field.
