JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Client Manager with proven experience in an accountancy practice or an accountant role, good understanding of UK accounting workflows and excellent communication skills.

As the Client Manager you will be the link between clients, the delivery team, and leadership, keeping communication flowing and everything on track.

This is a people-first role that blends relationship management, team coordination, and a sharp eye for deadlines and capacity, and as the Client Manager you will shape both the client experience and the direction we’re moving in.

The accountant’s role is changing, we’re embracing that shift, and this role will evolve as Benson Wood & Co grows. Giving you space to contribute, innovate, and take ownership.

We believe the best work happens in person, but we support flexible working where it makes sense. Many of our senior team balance in-office presence with remote days, giving them space to focus without losing connection.

With nearly 90 years of history, we’re proud of our deep roots in the Scottish business community but we’re not stuck in the past. No grey suits. No rigid hierarchies. What we value is clear thinking, strong relationships, and doing great work in a supportive, people-first environment.

As we grow, we’re looking for people who share that mindset.

• Proven experience (5 years+) in an accountancy practice (e.g. senior accountant or client manager role)

• Strong understanding of UK accounting workflows and deadlines
