KARWAN SHEERYAKH (BIRMINGHAM) LTD, known for its authentic and flavorful dishes, is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Afghan culinary traditions and will play a key role in upholding its reputation for delivering high-quality, flavorful dishes. The Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional Afghan dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation, and contributing to the overall success of the business.
Main duties include:
• Prepare and cook traditional Afghan dishes, including Chopan Kebabs, Qabuli Palaw, Family Grill, and other specialities, while ensuring the highest standards of flavour and authenticity.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes served to customers.
• Manage kitchen inventory, ensuring optimal freshness of ingredients and minimising waste.
• Assist with menu development, offering ideas for new dishes or variations of existing ones.
• Collaborate with management to ensure customers have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience as a Chef or similar role.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for team collaboration.
• Passion for creating flavorful, customer-satisfying dishes.
