Summary

Job Description
* Assist the senior management in the delivery of the project to ensure the site programme meets budget and commercial objectives.
* Driving site productivity.
* Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
* Accompany senior management on any management duties they may need you to participate in.
* Be able to order and receive material and create schedules of works.
* Ensure that all targets, and staff are set and managed, monitor the effectiveness of the HS&E management system, lead/review.
* Maintaining records and reports for site, including supplier feedback, H&S Records, daily activities, labour, plant, and materials.
* Preparing method statements and risk assessments.
* Ensure that sufficient resources are allocated to the Works Section and that each has an appropriate level of ability.
* Resolve problems when they arise.
* Complete weekly management reports detailing progress against planned milestones.
* Quality control.
Qualifications and Skills
* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Minimum requirement.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* 5 + years’ experience in a similar role.
* Have held a similar position with a Civil Engineering contractor for a sustained period.
* Proven experience of a supervisory background demonstrating progress through different levels.
* Experience in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power point.
The position is temporary to permanent.
A Company vehicle is provided after completing a probationary period.
The hours of work are Monday to Friday/days.
You must be flexible and work overtime and weekends when required.
