Summary
To remove, modify, and refit vehicle interiors.
Competent to use sharp tools, chisels, saws, and planes.
Competent to use mechanical machines; hand saw, bench saw.
Competent to use hand tools, electric pump screwdrivers, spanners, torque wrenches, and portable circular saws.
Competent to strip and rebuild vehicle interiors, luggage racks, seat frames, buffet cars.
Ensure that all work is completed by safety regulations and industry standards.
Personally, make health and safety a priority by ensuring you comply with all relevant health and safety instructions.
Adhere to the Company’s environmental policies and legal duties.
Plan individual work to minimise waste of raw materials.
Work in accordance with Company operating procedures and customer specifications.
To read and assess production information for required specification details; working in an organised manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard, and within the necessary time frame.
To carry out basic quality control checks.
