Summary
Expertise Homecare SEC are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard working Business Administrator for our Folkestone office to cover Maternity leave until December 2025 which has the potential to lead to a permanent position.
Located centrally in Folkestone town, our small office team are friendly, fun and supportive. They work tirelessly to help and support our Care team who provide such crucial work to the elderly and vulnerable in the community. The office environment is busy, managing and co-ordinating the day to day running of the service.
To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following qualities -
Fast learning
Hard working
Uses own initiative
Good knowledge of the Microsoft apps and computer literate
Ability to produce accurate figures for invoicing purposes
Reliable and punctual
Desirable qualities -
Experience as an administrator
Local to the office
GCSE or equivalent in core subjects

Adding new carers onto the system
Creating carer files
Preparing for and assisting with interviews
Preparing for and assisting with Induction for new carers including setting up emails, PPE bags, ID badges etc
Answering the telephone
Set up tablets for new carers
Order uniforms, PPE, stationary etc
Arranging company events
Sending birthday and sympathy cards when required
Recording absence
Cancel calls off the system
Sending out a monthly newsletter
Create and update a meet the team document
Record compliments
Diarising – putting the calls onto system
Applying for and chasing references
Scanning/copying on the printer
Sending off DBS applications
Ensure carers are checking in and out of their calls
Auditing
Update files and ensure documents are uploaded onto system
Adding notes onto the system
Liaising with the West Kent branch to add someone onto training
Keeping the office clean and tidy, making tea and coffee
Keeping minutes for meetings; handover meeting and team meetings
Liase with the website designers
Liase with other health care professionals over the telephone
Producing accurate reports for managers
