Summary
Job Summary
The admin assistant will be the initial contact within the business and will maintain all aspects of the administration of the business to help keep it running smoothly.
Hours are approx 25 hours per week over 5 days, starting from 12.00 pm until 5.15 pm.
There are opportunities for the right applicant to extend the hours during busy periods.
There are also opportunities to become full-time if the applicant would like to learn the trade of pearl restringing at a later date
Duties
Opening and logging the post received
Preparing quotations for estimates and contacting customers with the quotation
Responding to emails and WhatsApp messages
Taking and making telephone calls from customers
Preparing invoices using Quickbooks
Parcelling up and posting parcels using Royal Mail Click & Drop
Allocating and logging payments received on Quickbooks/PayPal and Cash
Taking payments using Cardnet
Filing invoices and worksheets
Preparing and sending End of Month Statements
Answering the door to deliveries and customers and dealing with appropriately
General tidiness of the office (shared duties including the dishes)
Maintain Stationery levels
Maintain job noticeboard and reminders noticeboard
Qualifications
GCSE English & Mathematics
Experience in Word and Excel
Experience in Quickbooks
