Summary

If you would like to be part of a friendly team, working towards ensuring our nature reserves are managed as well as they can be for wildlife, then this could be the role for you. As Gwent Wildlife Trust’s Nature Recovery Officer (NRO), you will oversee practical action for wildlife and engagement activities for volunteers at our nature reserves, as well as working with partners and neighbours to help support further action to help ensure nature is in recovery.

Working alongside other NRO’s and the Senior Conservation Grazing Officer and reporting to the Nature Recovery Manager you will be a key part of our Nature Recovery Team. We are looking for a passionate hard worker with knowledge and practical skills in habitat management for biodiversity, with initiative to find solutions to everyday challenges and happy to lead volunteers that help support our aspirations.
