Summary
The Best Connection are recruiting for a van driver on behalf of our client in the SA31 area, specialising in the delivery of construction materials.
Key Responsibilities: Load and unload a variety of construction materials, sometimes using a tail lift or other equipment. Accurately follow delivery schedules and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Communicate effectively with site managers and clients to confirm delivery instructions. Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs or issues. Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and organisation. Adhere to all health and safety protocols, especially when operating in construction environments. Requirements: A valid Cat B driving licence Strong understanding of safe loading practices and securing cargo. Good geographical knowledge of the local area and ability to plan efficient routes. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently. Benefits: Monday - Friday work, no weekends! Weekly pay 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata (inclusive of statutory holidays).
