Summary
Exciting new opportunity available in Runcorn! Our client, a leading global brand, is looking to had a Transport Supervisor to their dedicated & committed team! The ideal candidate will be required to: Co-ordinate the transport operations on site and on customer premises to meet both customer and company expectations Work closely with the onsite customer ensuring all operational requirements are met. Maintain a health and safety presence on site and challenge noncompliance. Ensure vehicle defects are reported and actioned in a timely manner Ensure that all drivers are compliant with the working time directive regulations and that any accidents/incidents are investigated in a timely manner Continually look to improve the service we provide offering ideas and recommendations as necessary. Desired skills & experience: Good administrative skills Have a positive attitude Excellent communication skills - youll be speaking regularly with various stakeholders Good understanding of Microsoft packages including Excel & Outlook Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous The working hours are on a weekly rotation consisting of: WK1 Mon - Fri 0600 - 1430 WK2 Mon - Thurs 1330 - 2200 & Friday 1130 - 2030 *Previous experience in a transport office is preferred although not essential
An immediate start is available after successful interview, and this role will go permanent after a successful qualifying period!
