We are currently looking to recruit a Goods in Operative to join our Goods in Department at our Bridgwater Dairy, within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business.
Contract: Full Time / Perm
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off – Days and Nights ( 6am – 6pm – 6pm – 6am)
Location: Bridgwater
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

- Receipt and Storage of over 400 pallets Raw Materials using Warehouse Management Sytem & SAP,. Onsite Storage of 11,000 plts.
- Incoming Quality Load checks and Sample taking following BRC Accreditation.
- Picking / Returning Raw Materials to relevant production departments supporting a seamless Production Operation. Turnover circa 500 plts per day.
- Adhere to all Set Company Policies and Procedures including Heath & Safety, SOP’s and GMP within area of Accountability.
- Proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety (Star Card Reporting)
- Prompt reporting of any Accident or Near Misses to your Line Manager.
- To use all company equipment for the purpose it was intended and in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
- To take reasonable care for the H&S of themselves and others who maybe be affected by their acts and omissions at work.
- Completion Of Weekly Stock Checks and Racking Inspections.
- Daily weight checks of Incoming Raw Materials.
- Completion of associated documentation and for the Raw Material Warehouse operation.
- Monthly Cleaning Schedules to be Adhered to.
- Daily FLT Inspections must be carried out.
- Report to the employer any serious or imminent danger.
- Report to the employer any shortcomings in the employers protective Health & Safety arrangement.Key skills and experience:

- Computer Skills Rquired, SAP, WMS (Warehouse Management systems), Excel and Windows 10
- FLT Licences required, Counterbalance, Reach Truck and VNA is essential however The right person will be given appropriate training.
- Confident and polite manner and effective team worker.
- A team player, highly motivated.
- Relevant H&S knowledge.
- Ability to work safely and accurately under pressure
- Operates in a calm and professional manner
- Knowledge of relevant company policies & procedures
- Adaptable to change

- Overtime Cover Essential in this Role to assist with Holiday Planning.
