Summary

Roles and responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives and translate them into actionable data projects; specifically with business users to identify critical questions, pain points, and challenges they face Support with data warehousing and engineering tasks Scope and analyse business problems to develop solutions that deliver measurable business value, going beyond a mere checklist of technical requirements Develop detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocation Collate tasks and relevant milestones into a gantt chart Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies Organise and facilitate meetings with application users (Finance, Clinical Coding and Site Managers) to scope project, ensure that project objectives are being met and sign-off Coordinate project stages such as designing, testing, user acceptance testing, Capture Sign-off of security privilege validation and coordinate documentation creation Understand use case for existing Web applications and apps, as well as, desired outcomes for Qlikview to Qlik Cloud migration Support the wider team to transition to Qlik Cloud Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, enabling them to make informed business decisions Information System Architecture Gain understanding on how data flows throughout the Trust (e.g. between the data warehouse and Qliksense) Ensure that reports are designed, implemented and managed in accordance with relevant legislation including Caldicott Principles and the Data Protection Act Create and maintain technical documentation under formal change control processes Communication To communicate effectively with clinicians and managers on matters associated with the system design and development of solutions To work with colleagues to plan and develop training programmes to train staff in the use and capabilities of relevant application systems To present, provide and receive highly complex information to a wide range of stakeholders in a formal setting. Management Responsibilities Support the delivery of strategic data and service transformation projects within the sector which need to provide in-depth triangulated intelligence to inform decision making, business planning, and the measurement of improvement in performance and quality Foster a culture of customer service by working closely with the decision-support function, responding effectively to the needs of the organisation and pro-actively seeking to add value to the organisation through information analyses, tools and methods Foster close working relations with the Data, Digital, Performance, ICT and Finance departments in developing and maintaining quality information and information reporting systems Review and contribute to the development of Information Management and Data Quality policies and procedures to meet the needs of the Trust Support and mentor information team staff where possible
