Summary

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join a Fostering team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent contract/s.

About the team

This team works with individuals in the community of foster carers who provide foster placements to children and young people. The day-to-day responsibilities include carrying out form F assessments, care planning and liaising with the Family Safeguarding team with the aim of ensuring that both the children and foster carers are receiving the support they need. This role offers supervision to all of their Social Workers to ensure that support s provided when dealing with complex cases and a warm and friendly team environment.

About you

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of three years experience in permanent contract/s is essential in order to be considered for this role. You must have knowledge and an understanding of Fostering regulations and National Minimum Standards for this position. A driving licence is essential.
