Role: Paint Shop Operative
Location: Barnstaple
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £15.40
Acorn by Synergie are recruiting for a Paint Shop Operative to join a busy team based in Barnstaple on a temporary basis. This position preferably requires someone with experience of working in a Paint Shop.
Job duties can include:
- Fettling using hand grinders.
- Sanding using orbital sanders.
- Fine filing.
- Basic spraying of assemblies.
- Operating spray guns to apply paint evenly and efficiently.
- Preparing paints.
Person Specification:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team or independently.
- Understanding of surface preparation techniques for optimal paint adhesion.
- Knowledge of mixing paints and other materials according to specifications.
- Experience in applying paint using various methods, including spray painting and other techniques.
