Summary

Professional Responsibilities Policy and Service Development Responsibilities Undertake the Trust Corporate and Directorate specific Induction and competency Programmes. Able to identify learning needs in self, negotiating a Personal Development Plan recognising own limitations. Accept personal responsibility for identifying their own learning needs and for maintaining their own professional development and mandatory training. Assist in the facilitating of a learning environment conducive to the acquisition of further knowledge and skills and be actively involved in the development of others. Participate in the teaching and evaluation of practical skills to an agreed standard. Promote and provide health education for patients and their carers/family. To promote a professional and positive image of themselves and the Trust. Demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude towards their work colleagues. Supporting Financial Excellence To develop and maintain an awareness of budgeting, exercising care and economy in the ordering and use of equipment, supported by written documentation where applicable. Responsible for the effective and efficient use of Clinical, physical and financial resources Other information The postholder may be required to carry out other relevant duties as required. The postholder will adhere to the duties specified under the Staff Responsibilities of the NHS Constitution in their day to day work and behaviours. The postholder will be expected to aspire to the Values of the Trust in their day to day work and behaviours in order to support the Trust in achieving its Vision.
