Summary
A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Manufacturing Support Engineer to join its high-performing team at a major UK production site. This role is critical to ensuring seamless integration between engineering and manufacturing on the aircraft wing assembly line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide engineering support directly on the production line
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve processes
- Drive cost and quality improvements across the build process
- Aerospace industry experience essential
- Strong background in structural design
- Proficient in CATIA V5
- Knowledge of metallic structures (composites a plus)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Paid overtime: 25% weekdays, 50% weekends
- One-stage interview process
